Collection: Shoulder-Side Entry Glenosphere Inserter (SEGI™)
The SEGI™ Inserter is a specialized surgical instrument designed for precise and efficient glenosphere implantation during reverse shoulder arthroplasty. Unlike traditional straight-in inserters, the SEGI™ enters from the side, allowing for placement with minimal retractors while keeping the arm in a neutral position.
This side-entry approach eliminates obstruction from the humerus when externally rotating the arm and provides superior control of eccentricity at the correct clock angle. The SEGI™ securely holds both standard and lateral glenospheres, allowing surgeons to hammer or screw in the implant with stability. Its narrow profile ensures easy removal from the shoulder once the glenosphere is secured.
