Collection: Shoulder-Facilitator™

The Facilitator™ Shoulder Retractors are highly specialized surgical instruments designed to facilitate visualization, surgical approach, and preparation during shoulder replacement. Their low-profile design allows for secure placement with minimal retraction, optimizing access and exposure.

Unlike traditional retractors, the Facilitator™ provides improved control and stability, ensuring a clear surgical field without excessive soft tissue disruption. Available in multiple sizes, it adapts to different procedures while maintaining a minimally invasive approach. Through optimized design iterations, we have developed an ergonomic and efficient solution.

  • "I love this retractor and it really has helped me with my exposure of glenoid." - Dr. V

  • "Once you understand how to use it, you will never want to have any other posterior retractor when doing shoulder replacements." - Dr H

  • “I absolutely love this retractor . It’s a game changer. “ - Dr M

Proper Positioning

Ideally position the retractor tip at a 5 o’clock or 7 o’clock position depending on addressing a right or left shoulder reconstruction respectively.
Position the retractor tip curved dome 50/50 on the glenoid neck and lip, creating a reliable fixation and a two-point leverage off of the humeral cut plane/protective plate pulls the glenoid inferior and positions the retractor for optimized exposure, access and implantation.
